The Full Story

Michael Soar is studying English Literature and Creative Writing in his third year at Liverpool John Moores Univeristy. He was born in Jersey, Channel Islands.

His earliest memories include peaking out at his grandmother through the bars of his cot, his friend falling off the climbing frame and fracturing her arm, having to deal with a wasp nest's in the chimney of his childhood flat, playing in the washed up boat, riding around in the old Mini Cooper with his dad, going for rides in sports cars with his dad's friends, not coming in for pancake Tuesday and then burning his hand on the stove, his next door neighbour's pet rat biting his finger because it thought it was a carrot (then getting an Action Man sticker for his finger and subsequently getting his finger caught in the drawer), to name but a few.
